so sorry for the delay. this has been quite a journey. as i write this, i think of the trials and tribulations that we’ve gone through in creating this film thus far. i’ve made many new friends, and lost a few. moved from LA to NYC. written a script and decided to go back to the drawing board. had the crew rush their passports and then delay their trip. our DP paul’s film that he gaffed, bellflower, has been featured at sundance, sold, and distributed. my friend brian’s film was shot for half a million dollars. i’ve learned many important lessons along the way and now, more excited about this film than ever, i continue on.
we’re trying to cast the role of the fisherman now. it’s fun to imagine who isn’t normally creepy but could be.
just found this video, thought it was nice

No (yes) this is not a PR stunt (kind of).
If you have display problems you can go directly to the YouTube page. Play in 480p if you can!

Thank you to Alia Kahn and her family for joining us on the Mermaid Teaser, here’s her acting debut!
“strč prst skrz krk” meaning “stick a finger through your throat” and “Smrž pln skvrn zvlhl z mlh.” meaning “Morel full of spots was dampened by fogs”
normally there are vowels, but these are just special
It’s possible we’ll use one of our normal cameras in an underwater housing, or we may get the Eumig Nautica camera: the only super 8 camera created specifically to go underwater. Here’s some footage of it in use:
